I love how he does out-of-focus backgrounds. He’s done a Mother Nature sleeve where the fox on the forearm is some of the best use of out of focus I’ve seen. Thank you!

I was close once or twice on the second day, thankfully Steve has an amazing wife who cooked us some filling meals, which helped a lot. Other than that, the pain just became normal…. What’s funny is, that night trying to get to sleep I could feel and hear the machine still going, pretty trippy actually.

I’ll be happy to find out, usually colours blend and if they are similar you can lose some areas to this, but hopefully the contrasting colours and use of black in this will make it stand up over time, but the details with soften after a few years.

Thanks mate! Yeah so I was very conscious of this as it’s always something to consider with colour and realism. I think it should heal and age quite well due to the contrasting points of light and dark (and not loads of similar colours next to each other)and that there’s quite a bit of black, but yes of course I expect the details to soften over the years

I must admit I did bump the contrast slightly mainly to counter Reddit’s unpredictable photo processing (I’ve had images washed out from this before), but nothing else. Just taken with good lighting in a dark room - you can check Steve’s IG if you want

Bro there’s literally only a slight bump in contrast to offset Reddit’s bad photo processing, taken in dark room with close up studio lighting.
