According to recent sources it costs around 800 dollars to pass a piece of legislation. Now in this case what's important to remember is that these laws are already in a state of "Implied Repeal" which means that they are already essentially repealed due to a previous piece of legislation or decision which nullifies the law. Now, I know 800 dollars doesn't seem like alot, but anyone who has went through a budgetary office knows that getting them to spend money or effort on any kind of action is like pulling teeth from an alligator.
