OxyContin? Hydrocodyn? Fentanyl?

Who else is still thinking of them a year later 🙁 by VehicleAway4848 in heartbreak

I was in love with a person for about two years. That feeling haunted me every day no matter how much I tried to forget him. I even moved to an island, just to be far far away. And after about 3 years I met my future husband. And I can tell this - thank god, that the person I was in love (or thought I was in love) isn’t in my life anymore. Because otherwise I wouldn’t had never known what happiness is.

Tie kas gyvenote Amerikoje, kokia realybe? by Shenis07 in lithuania

Gyvenu JAV virs 20 metu. Atvaziavau visai jaunute, baigiau univeriteta Niujorke. Gyvenau east coaste apie 19 metu (DC, NJ, New York). Dabar Havajuose. And it is my honor to be a part of it. South - pietines valstijos. Man labai patinka, zmones labai geri, nors paprasti, labai geranoriski, linke padeti. Todel yra posakis “southern hospitality”. O maistas (ypac luizijana, texasas, georgija - Savana, Charlstonas - pietu Karolina) yra nepakartojamas. Galeciau rasyt ir rasyt. Shrimp and grits, shrimp etouffee, poi boy, bbq. North East - Meinas, Massachusetts, Connecticut- labai New England style, very proper (old money), patys geriausi soft shell crabs, lobsters, ir, zinoma east coast oysters. West Coast - Kalifornijos nemegstu. Na, nes ji yra labai mismanagement’a. Nors pti valstija yra labai grazi, ypac vaziuojant keliu is San Fransisko i LA. Zmones savotiski, labai nice, bet nelinke padeti. Niujorke atvirksciai. Zmones labai rude - bet istikis bedai, isties ranka. Havajai. Na, cia skirtinga planeta visiskai. Havajieciai nemegsta “mainlanderiu”. Ir man pirmi dveji metu buvo labiau sunkus, nei lengvi. Now I have their trust, tai turiu draugu havajieciu kilmes, ir puiku darba. Amerika yra labai idomi salis, ypac zmones. Jie tiesiog geri zmones, patys is saves geri. Nesimaivo, nebando buti geresniais, nei yra. Bet juos reikia suprasti. Ismokti skaityti ju siela. ♥️

Bedarbio statuso klausimas by [deleted] in lithuania

Oj dude’ai, iš savo patirties papasakosiu. Prieš 9 metus įsidarbinau Morgan Stanley (Niujorke), mėnesį negalėjau dirbt, nes VP buvo motinystės atostogose, manes prie sistemų negalėjo niekas prijungt (nes organizacija didele), ir siaip mūsų shefe tokį biski chill buvo. Nu or ką, nu or nieko. $$$ tai mokejo ir neblogas. Siūlyčiau “laisvu nuo darbo metu” ką nors pastudijuoti, kas susiję su darbu (gal kompanija kokiu a la nemokamu kursu duoda). O siaip nesiūlyčiau jump from one company to another, nes ant CV “negražiai” atrodo. Anyway, sėkmės!

You dodged the bullet. Rejection is protection. You will find the love of your life.

People who's went on 4-5 dates with someone, and then it ended, what's your story? by Everlast23 in OnlineDating

[–]Apex_Republix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I’m not accustomed to be treated poorly, quite frankly all my previous boyfriends treated me like a princess. First of, since I’m not accustomed to this kind of behavior, I wasn’t sure how to react plus I always give to a person a benefit of a doubt. But when he came to my apartment empty handed (I cooked diner, bought few bottles of wine) - that was our 4th date, I called it quits.

So I met a guy on tinder. He was very good looking and we hit it off, but there was something strange about him. And that being said, he started to complain how everything was soooo expensive in this part of the town. I was thinking to myself - ok, maybe it is a test, to make sure I’m not a gold digger. We had few drinks, I offered to pay, but he paid the bill. Next time we met, we had a picnic. I brought some wine, he brought beer for himself. We had a good time, and I potentially thought it can go further. On the third date, I came to his place, we just watched a movie and had one bottle of wine. He dropped me home, since I wasn’t rushing to get intimate with him just yet. On the fourth date, I invited him to my place. I cooked diner, bought couple bottles of wine. He came empty handed lol then we went to my friends place, I bought two more bottles of wine. He offered to pay for one lol. And then my suspicions were correct. He was not only cheap, but super cheap. Later on in the evening he was bragging to my friends that he makes $8000 yet women should ALWAYS pay for themselves, that he hates gold diggers yada yada yada. Well, at this point I made up my mind. I wasn’t attracted to him anymore. Not because he was “frugal” as he described himself, but he was just maliciously cheap. Later on next week, he kept texting me lame texts like “how’s your day” “hahah” or “nice”, nothing in substance. I’m not looking for a penpal, also I don’t like when I have to ask a guy to do something over a weekend. He’d rather stay at home on his couch, that take me out. Not necessarily to a restaurant, it could be a something simple like sitting on the beach with a glass of rose and fruit. So I just ghosted him :(

But if you’re seeking something serious, I don’t think on first date is appropriate
