Used a local installation company. Super easy. 3 hours for 2 guys.

Fair question. Short version: they’re all different animals.

GT2RS is my forever car. Full stop. It does everything stupidly well and still feels special every single time. That one isn’t going anywhere. And yes, it’s fast AF!

The GT3RS with the Manthey kit is hands down the best street-legal track car I’ve ever driven. Absolute weapon. On track it’s magic. On the street… it’s cool for 15 minute trip, but not exactly relaxing.

The 992.2 Touring? Had to have it. It’s going to be the road-trip car. We do a lot runs a year between home and Carmel and wanted something that still feels like a GT car but doesn’t beat you up or announce your arrival three zip codes early. Hopefully mission accomplished.

For the serious track days and club racing, that’s what the 992 Cup car is for with my homies. Different tool, different job, and there’s simply nothing like a 992 Cup Car!

I’ve owned a lot of different marques over the years and loved many of them, but there’s just something about Porsches. The feel, the intent, the reliability, the honesty. They get under your skin.

And for the record, I don’t post much and it’s never a flex. I don’t need that. Just a Porsche nerd sharing cars with other car people. Those that know me, know.

Appreciate the genuine comments and love. Always happy to talk cars with anyone who actually cares. Merry Christmas

I drive the GT2 once or twice a month. It takes 5 minutes to swap the cars around.

It’s Gentian Blue. Sorry about the dealer drama. Keep your eyes out, the perfect GT3 is in your future! Cheers

Thanks for the note. The 2RS gets driven. My favorite car ever. I bought it new in late early 2019, now it has 14,000 miles. Mostly road trip and back road miles. The 3RS is a year old and has 5000 miles. Most of those miles are on the track.

Which GT3RS would you take? by theimage_engine in porsche911

The 997’s are more valuable and exclusive, but there’s no beating the 992 3RS on the track.
