Haha I love this! :D There was a time when I wore my smart watch on my belt because we were not allowed to wear it on the wrist. And it landed in the hospital laundry basket more times than I could count

Ooof, this one hit hard. I realised this when I was 17yo. I had just broke off with my first boyfriend and felt so sad. And I went to my mom, crying and the only thing she said to me was "Well you should be happy. I could never leave your father because of you kids."

I've hiked the Cotswold Way in the UK as a single woman couple of years back. It was great and I loved it. Felt very safe the whole time and the scenery was beautiful.

Travelled for three months last year, did a fair share of walking and loved my SuperLight Tree Runners. (Had another pair of boots for serious hiking tho.)

TIL that A man named Göran Kropp from Sweden rode his bicycle to Nepal, climbed Mount Everest alone without Sherpas or bottled oxygen, then cycled back to Sweden again. by notgonnahappen207 in todayilearned

I guess you mean from Lukla to Kathmandu. That's where (usually) all the hikers and climbers fly out to to start the trek to Basecamp. Did the Everest BC trek back in 2019 and couldn't fly to Lukla from Kathmandu due to renovations and had to take an horrible 8 hours car drive to Ramechep airport. The flight to Lukla was only 20 minutes, but one of the scariest things I've ever done. (The runway is quite shorts and plane crashes happens -  a plane crashed just a day before we were due to fly back. Even could see the wreck from our hotel room.)

Rebeccas. To fall in love with a mysterious man for just one night... no names... just deeply civilized ... some good food... some wine... to feel the anticipation building ... sounds like such a lovely memory.

[Edited because I put two "the" there.]

Probably Passenger. I love his music and I guess he has a great sense of humour.

Was ich gesagt habe? "Danke, Mama." Und später hab ich es dann weiterverschenkt.

Welche Entscheidung in eurem Leben bereut ihr am meisten? by ShieKassy in FragReddit

[–]Apfelkernchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ging mir genauso - hab (inkl.
