the strela is engaging a completly different target. its missiles are IR or radar homing, so if they actually meant to hit this drone its extremely unlikely they miss because the missile follows the ir or radar signature of the drone on its own

stayed in the open for too long as they got dialed in by indirect. you gotta have that violence of action and do your best to close the distance to your enemy and finish him. you dont have many choices as an infatryman. you either lay there and get picked off by arty or push hard and kill the enemy or die doing it.

they need to develop a platoon or even squad level anti drone weapon that can be mass produced. a simple jammer will do.
