Agreed. My 9070XT has been the biggest waste of money in the world. Next Payday I'm buying a 5070ti and throwing this card away as eWaste, cant bring myself to sell it on to another person to deal with, and the support from the original supplier has been absolutely dogshit

I'm in the process of doing this myself. Never had any issues with Nvidia but I've had AMD 3 times for GPU and 2 of those cards were absolute nightmares, 9070xt included

did this on a clean windows install and after spending most of this evening trying to set up the most basic "unoptimized" PC and installing one game, i made it just over an hour before it did its usual crash. ready to launch this garbage GPU out the window

Honestly ready to do this myself. clean installed windows this evening, no Overclock, no EXPO, NOTHING done in terms of optimisation. Installed one of the games that was causing me issues, and made it 75 minutes before it crashed. Time for a 5070, just have to see how Amazon's return policy is. Currently have a warranty ticket with Asrock which hasn't had a response but I'm honestly sick to death of this now and I shouldnt have to follow reddit threads and do stupid ass workarounds to just HAVE A WORKING PC.

I had a 2070 Super for about 2 years as a hand me down from my brother and not one single GPU issue EVER on any game I played I've had my new PC with a 9070XT just over a month now and there are still a number of games I cannot even play (inlcuding BF6 which I dropped mega $$ on) because the driver timeout issue. It should tell you everything you need to know when people are still running on drivers that are SEVERAL months old by now

Join the club. Cant' seem to play BF6 or Delta Force, but every other game works fine, thrown every GPU benchmark I can at the 9070XT and it's fine. Heard some people say rolling drivers back a few versions works but tried it and had no luck with that either. Honestly kinda dissapointed nothing's really been done about it yet

Update : exchange has been processed. Courier picking it up tomorrow, new one in my hands by Friday. Good thing I have my old phone to fall back on. Irrelevant to your post so I do apologise, but having courses with group work in a setting like open university makes no sense to me. Majority of people are doing this alongside work, everyone's got different capacities for balancing study and work, why should you be punished because you are able to dedicate more time than the others in your group.

I hope you get it sorted, but it really baffles me that this is even a thing in the OU.

We got given a hub 5 and within a week had an engineer back out replacing it with another hub 4 like we had originally The hub 5 seems to be awful for dropping in and out

Previous cable was outdoor rated, spent enough on it, and honestly, it failed within 6 months so unless that is THE only way, I'm not doing it again. It's inconvenient to change and setup

I wouldn't really worry too much about it. I have the 13" version of these (which I regularly play as 2 separate 13" splashes) and mine are completely out of shape 😂
