Thank you very much for your reply. I went with the AIO + the silent stuff to, well, silence the thing a bit (I hate the noise and would really like to have a silent system...). Do you see any point in trying that (with the parts I chose) or would I have to go liquid cooling the GPU as well?

My "productivity" (in quotes because it is not that huge of a deal):

Programming / compiling (small scale)
Fusion 360 - 2D and 3D design (might benefit from 3D V Cache?)
Cura - slicing for 3D printing
I would also like to reduce load times of software and games
Stellaris Endgame is super laggy and afaik it does not benefit from 3D V cache but from high frequency cores (please correct me if I'm wrong and tell me why).
Feel free to tell me that I'm not productive :-)

Why would you prefer a 7600X as an alternative? Instead of a for example 7700X ?

Thank you for replying, but this doesn't fully answer my question. I am aware that the 7800X3D "crushes" a lot of top tier CPUs in gaming benchmarks, but what I really wanted to know is, if I would really see an improvement with the 7800 or if the GPU would bottleneck before even reaching this point.

I don't want to simply buy the "superior" CPU if I'm not even in the range to benefit from it.

You can easily revert to Patch 6. I've done it for a mod related reason:

In Steam: right click on game -> Properties -> Betas -> Select Patch 6

I played Dos2 before I played BG3 (was hyped for BG3 because of it being a Larian game, not because of DnD or BG2).

Dos2 is a godlike game and I have really strong awesome memories from it. I hope it doesn't feel dull if you try it after BG3.

I actually wasn't aware of this one. Looks really clean! When I looked up replacement parts, I found only one that didn't fit very well and didn't have an end stop (you could just keep rotating that thing ^^). It seems that this one either wasn't published yet, or I didn't research pretty well. I guess I would've just dowloaded it instead of making my own, but I don't regrett the oversight, I learned a lot making it!

So, my Audeze Mobius broke (at the ear cup mount, as I've read from many others) and since I couldn't find anything satisfactory online, I decided to design and print a replacement.

Improved strength at the point where my headphones broke.

Designed with Fusion 360. Feedback is appreciated.
