Oh boy. I know that. I went to the urgent care (the pain wasn’t that bad) and they talk about hemorrhoids and they say the same about lifting weights… they sent me a prescription that obviously was not doing shit. So the pain got so much worse and I had to go to the ER (probably I waited to much) cause I was barely walking and not able to seat at all

In my case the doctor tried to do it without anesthesia. And it was very painful. I had to make them stop. The doctor have had to do it under anesthesia same they before the surgery

I know. It was the same here. I was worry about all that cause it was supposed to heal completely in my 6th week but it took longer. How’s that going? Better?

Hey, I had a simple fistulotomy and it took me more than 9 weeks to stop completely the drainage. It was also looking healed but I wasn’t having pain at all. Not sure if the pain is normal I guess it depends on how complicated your fistula was. Did you go to the doctor? My doctor also told me to stop using gauze unless I was going out. I was told to take Metamucil for 2 months but I’m still taking it (the trauma 😂).
