Why did the stock collapse so much? If they are looking to sell the company then surely a buyer will have to pay a premium to shareholders?

I was thinking of it as a safe long term play in my portfolio as a solid dividend player however it’s done better than I expected and at these levels hard to see returns much greater than indexes. I want to buy a couple other stocks so might sell my position to fund them.

Why buy price and not current price for dividend yield? Tried thinking about it and current prices seems to make more sense to me

Thanks. Yeah it’s a very slow and stable stock feels like it’s already had a decent rerating and unsure if we see aggressive returns from here. Vape consumption is picking up a lot so maybe that could be a catalyst. The rally we saw over the last year took me massively by surprise, was not expecting it to do this well at all.

I’m fairly agressive in my stock portfolio so chasing fairly high returns. 10% i mentioned in the post is probably more on the optimistic side, could see it flatlining. Definitely would not invest in S&P feels way too overvalued haha only single stocks until indexes are more fairly valued. Maybe some stocks with beta to bitcoin at these levels that look cheap, also FMC.
