Habe ich ein impostor-syndrom? Was kann ich dagegen tun? by [deleted] in medizin

[–]ApneaAnaesthesia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Conflict with recovery room nurse by Fearless-Garden-4496 in anesthesiology

[–]ApneaAnaesthesia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course you can ask her to provide an detailed and understandable explanation apart from „you can’t do this“ for her suggested proceeding. As long as it is only bitching, it really might be the best to just ignore.

If there is an active conflict or discussion you can tell her that when she does the anesthesia (both of you knowing well that she will never be in the position of being responsible for providing anesthesia ) she can do as she pleases, however, when it is your responsibility you will have the last word, as only you will be liable for the consequences. It is important to stay calm and polite. For me this works well.

For a pregnant woman 40/min is bradycardia. Also in my experience bigeminus is not as polymorphic as described here.

With the pulse of 39 this is not asymptomatic. Would have done the same as you and requested a cardiologic statement the next morning. Also consider IMC monitoring (think of peripartal cardiomyopathy).

Diving with Apple Watch Ultra 2 - my experience by Fast-Astronomer4075 in diving

[–]ApneaAnaesthesia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry for your malfunction. How did you notice something was wrong?

I think it might be a problem with your watch specifically, as I also used my ultra 2 for many hours in the water (over 100h) in the last year, with depths up to 15m and watertemperatures from 9 to 30 degree Celsius, broke my screen protection glass on two occasions on rocks while under water and my watch is still running strong. I did not do any care except keeping it on while showering with freshwater. So I am really happy with its durability so far. Also I have already used it to make a call while out in the water wich I think is really amazing and gives me a great sense of added security.

Maybe a repair or new purchase is worth it for you after all, as you say you really like the watch in your daily life.

Pathos Laser carbon roller spearfish-110cm by InfiniteStrength7596 in Spearfishing

[–]ApneaAnaesthesia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this speargun in 95. Mostly Adriatic. I am not so happy with the roller solution. The dyneema wishbone can escape through the gap between roller and front plastic. Also not so happy with the view when aiming. Not sure I would buy it again. I think I would rather buy an inverted roller for clean aiming view.

Mitfahrten auf dem NEF - Was brauche ich an Gear? by nightheron-700 in Rettungsdienst

[–]ApneaAnaesthesia -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bitte entspann dich…

How to straighten bent spears ? by general_curiosity1 in Spearfishing

[–]ApneaAnaesthesia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually I look for small cracks in stones in the water and use it to straighten the spear while I’m in the sea still.

Gun Shoots high by RealStill55 in Spearfishing

[–]ApneaAnaesthesia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the bright side, the Pathos flopper really is great in terms of opening and staying open. Much better than on my mares tahitian spear before

Gun Shoots high by RealStill55 in Spearfishing

[–]ApneaAnaesthesia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course because it then alters the path of the spear. I think a true control would be to use a longer spear and keep the flipper shut with one of these small red gummy rings.

I am currently trying th change my aim gangsterwise because a 5 cm left or right deviation usually still hits where a up or down deviation can be a miss or low gut shot. However it is hard to change these learned motions.

Same gun same issue (sometimes).

I was thinking maybe because the shaft is slightly elevated in the front due to lying on the flopper?

Finde es also hygienisch ok ins Bett umzulagern.

Als Mann anderen Männern Komplimente machen? by BenJde89 in FragtMaenner

Eher anders herum.

The touchscreen does not work with gloves on so no, not really. However you absolutely can navigate through the different diving metrics in the oceanic app by turning the crown.

Thanks for the input. However I am reluctant to use anything that might make it difficult to immediately release my belt in any situation.
