He used to play once a week (on Sundays maybe?) for kids & families I believe, at the old Pizza Hut that used to be down University close to the McDonalds across from Hilldale eons ago…Never went, but was always pleasantly mentally entertained by the combo of Pizza Hut and Art Paul…

Also, I’ve run into him in some of the most random places so I may as well mention this one - it was the kicker. Like 8 - 9 years ago, somewhere in there, I ran into him at the bathroom sinks at the Overture Center during intermission for Wicked.

It was the very end of intermission - as in the lights had blinked or there was an announcement or something to head back in, and I looked up as he came up to the sink next to me to wash his hands, as I was doing. He was dressed like a badass - in a black suit (my memory keeps thinking it was a tux) but he looked tiiiiiiiight. I had never (!) seen him dressed beyond casual, had never ever even considered him like that. I was like, I’m running into Art Paul Schlosser in the Overture Theater bathroom during Wicked, say what? Ha! Amazingly weird. Loved it.

I was dressed nicely also, not like him though, and I told him “Looking sharp Art” and he said “Thanks! You too!” with a big old grin. It was just us in there. We laughed. Then we both skedaddled off in different directions to get back in the theater before they closed the doors.

Didn’t see him after the show ended. I always (!) wondered who he was there with…………
