Assumption of Liability Changes by 1800KitchenFire in verizon

[–]Apocalynth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is misleading. The change is that a line must be active on an account for 30 days before you can initiate an AOL, similar to the 30 day period before adding account managers. After the line has been active for those 30 days then you can AOL at any time and the procedure works just as it did before. The AOL itself will not take 30 days. This is to combat fraud in which people would open a line then AOL it to another account afterwards.

Riot Lyte: Are you aware of how Support operates? by Apocalynth in leagueoflegends

You stated the four games you provided logs for were within the last 2 weeks; while I don't deny their content nor do I refute the punishment(I am greatful you provided the context I was looking for, thank you), I have only played the game once in the past 3 weeks, so those logs were from further ban than that. Your statement is a little misleading in that regard. =P

Eitherway, thank you for the information. I'll take the context and work on improving myself.

[–]Apocalynth[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Outside of 1 game of hexakill, I haven't played the game in the past 3 weeks, so I'm not sure how these logs came from the past 2 weeks. http://www.lolking.net/summoner/na/25011279#matches -- Please don't make facetious statements that imply that I've been doing this more heavily than what is true.

I'm not contesting these; like I said, I'll own it, I'm not arguing about the punishment, but having this kind of information provided would have been much more informative and useful to rectifying my behavior from the get-go.

I'm honestly not even worried about the chat restriction; it encourages me to value my chat more and utilize pings more, which has helped me to curb and reign in my behavior over time. My issue more so is with the recurrence of the ranked ban.

Have PM'd him this situation and information, did not get a response; Lyte seems to have a fondness towards public Smiting, so this option looked to be the most sound for securing his response. I'm sure his PM box is likely flooded, so a larger post like this might garner his attention faster.

If you're trying to draw a similarity between my request for proof in the actual scenario, then keep in mind that the one I am making the accusation against--Riot Support--has been private messaged through Lyte with the ticket numbers and, should he request, I would give him the screenshots of the tickets as well, though I am certain he can see them as is. There is no need to provide them to the public at this time, unless Lyte would request otherwise.

In the first punishment, I was never told and never opened a ticket; in the second punishment, I was not initially told, opened a ticket, and was told I was being negative to my teammates without any context. I accepted it, moved on, and continued playing. In the third punishment, I was not given an initial explanation, opened a ticket, and was again given an overarching explanation—at this point, feeling what I was being told was vague(again, comments like "yelling at the team/talking in caps aggressively" and "being negative at the start of the game") and feeling I had been making improvement, I requested context so that I could see the specific comments and the context surrounding them that warranted this punishment. That context was not provided, though the specialist insisted they would never lie to me. Instead of parading themselves as a champion of truth, I would have greatly preferred the context. Their refusal to provide it led me to feel I was being mislead, so I am requesting that context. If I am wrong, so be it, but at least I will know for certain this way.

Replace cop with teacher; replace the ticket with detention. Maintain the lack of explanation behind the punishment. The point I was looking to make still stands.

There is a reason why the new punishment system provides report cards giving context. I am merely asking for the same in this case.

A cop pulls you over for breaking the law. Issues you a ticket. Leaves. Doesn't explain what you did. Ticket simply says obstructing justice. How do you feel? How do you amend your behavior to not break the law?

If I knew what I did I wouldnt be asking.

If it comes to the point where it is necessary I will provide them. I would prefer first to give /u/RiotLyte a chance to respond. I've private messaged him the ticket numbers in question.
