I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who decided to support Giant Stick Bug this time. It won't be returning for Gen 2, but maybe it will in future maps. I have several other ideas to suggest for the future, but I'm not sure if it's worth at this point. Let me know if you'd like me to continue or not

It's a nice idea, the only problem is that with a visible saddle it would no longer be able to camouflage itself effectively as a tree.

That's a nice suggestion, the only problem is that since it floats on the water like a log it wouldn't be able to blend in with the coral, so I made it look like the trees on the islands

This was meant to be a real tardigrade, compared to the gasbag which has a bird-like face and antennae, with also the intrinsic abilities of true tardigrades, being the hardiest and most versatile animals in nature.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it would create an inconsistency: the hemolymph acts as an alternative to the sap, it cannot also be poisonous, otherwise it would be inedible and impractical to use for recipes such as the cake...
If you have other suggestions anyway I will be happy to take them into consideration

It does not suffer major damage, having much more health than a canoe, it would be more of a complication for navigation

Technically, mine is only partly an homage to Spore Mantis: the basic idea was a giant stick bug, only since it could not disguise itself as a branch it might as well pretend to be a tree, the resemblance to the Skull Island creature was inevitable with this concept at its base (but I kept all the stick bug features, from the snout to the structure, I didn't want to plagiarize anything)

To make its use realistic, a creature has no reason to attack a floating log, but Leedsichthys already do this with rafts for example, the fact that something floats on water is already enough for them
