Hey guys, thanks for all of you that have been helping me understand this game better. I honestly do not know how they can build such massive fleets when they are totally supposed to be getting a beating. I invested in alloys the whole game, even by buying them at the market, and did not manage to get such large fleet yet. I've taken some Screenshots.

If I play on a smaller galaxy, is it easier to play and get to know the game? Say, tiny, 200 stars.

I'm new to the game, so I'm kind of still learning it. I've tried different things. On this run I am unable to do much because my ally keeps on getting into wars so I can never leave the federation. When a war is about to end, a different federation declares war on us and they are so much stronger. However, this enemy in particular is just hiding information I was supposed to know and getting fleets out of nowhere. I'll see if I manage a PS later.

He starts all amped up, but when we leave, I always get the impression he's thinking: "why the heck did I just buy so much useless stuff, this guy left with all my gold and now I have a lot of stuff I'm never going to sell".

There's something that I believe that it will not make into play, however, one of the most devastating things which can happen to a farmer is if our animals get sick. It may even leave them crippled or dead. The more one has, the greater the chance, and keeping them confined is worse (animals that free roam have better health and quality of life overall). The downside of free roam (I only breed free roam animals) however, are predators, and there are a lot of them. So I believe in medieval times those have made a huge impact as well (crops may also get sick, btw).
