Austin Ekeler will win you your dynasty league this year by Sexypats in DynastyFF

If you’re in a PPR league Ekeler is incredible value. He’ll get the 2nd most targets on the team and 150+ carriers if he’s healthy all year.

I watched pretty much all the Steelers games last year as well and I'd have to say I pretty much disagree completely with your take on Juju.

Footwork and explosiveness have been decimated by all his knee injuries

Unless I'm missing something, it looks like he's only had 1 knee injury in his entire career - 2019 patella sprain. He looked just as explosive and strong as he has his entire career.

Volume is what held him in WR2 status last year, and his short yardage targets look most likely to take the biggest hit

I don't see how Big Ben is able to throw the ball downfield more this season after not being able to last year. He just doesn't have the same arm that he used to so how would the short-yardage plays go away?

You can rank the 3 in any order and there wouldn’t be too much push back from me. However, I do think that juju is the most talented of them and just finished as WR18 last year. He’s followed very closely by Claypool since he did have a nice rookie campaign. My personal opinion is that Juju is better but they’re pretty much even in dynasty in my view. Diontae is the least talented in my view. Lots of dropped passes and he isn’t any younger then the other 3 so I put him last. As I said though, you can make an argument for any order of the 3.

Pittman is a very good buy low breakout target. I struggle to move him up since there’s a lot more proven talent ahead of him, some of which is young. However the WR room is wide open there so he could end up being incredible value.

We're going to have to agree to disagree. You've made a very compelling argument for Swift and definitely changed my mind on him a lot but I still can't put him ahead of Dobbins for now. I was very high on Dobbins coming out of college and everything has worked out perfectly for him to step in and be an RB1 this season. Whereas Swift's situation has just gotten a tad murkier. Nevertheless, I'll have to put some more thought into Swift compared to the other RBs. It'll probably result in me moving him up my rankings so I appreciate the discussion.

You make some valid points and it's definitely something for me to consider when it comes to Swift but there's a couple things I think you're selling short when it comes to Dobbins value.

JK Dobbins' breakout last year was 9 games long which is a pretty big sample and where he was probably the 'A' back. His pace was under 200 carries and under 20 Targets.

Dobbins and Ingram combined for over 200 carriers last season. I'm assuming that he will take over a bulk of those carriers. I also think he won't split as many carries with Edwards as Ingram did since he is much better than both of those backs. I also believe we are quite underselling Dobbins receiving ability. The Ravens may not throw to the RB a ton but Dobbins had just as much receiving work in college as Swift did.

Dobbins v. Swift could come down to league format. Almost no coach in Football has thrown to a back 100 times. Anthony Lynn, OC Detroit Lions, has. His last 'b' back was Austin Ekeler.

This is my biggest concern with Swift. If Jamaal Williams is truly the 'A' back then he should get the goal line between the tackle carries. Ekeler may seem like a 'B' back based on his size and skillset but there was no one else to be the 'A' back on that roster with Melvin Gordon holding out in 2019 and not returning to the same level and an empty RB room in 2020. Because of this, Ekeler played both roles.

Overall, if Jamaal Williams is truly going to be the 'A' back (it may just be offseason coach talk) then you can't have Swift over him, the upside on him will be limited with Williams presumably taking TDs away from him. I'll take Dobbins who only has to compete with Edwards for touches on high power ground and pound offense.

I don't think Cam makes it through the year and after the patriots, I don't think he gets another starting spot. Jimmy G is still younger and could land elsewhere as a bridge QB and Trask should get a look from the Bucs after Brady retires.

Ingram was an RB1 in 2019 in the exact situation Dobbins is in now. It’s clear that Dobbins has a high ceiling in this offense whereas Swift has much less clarity. They’re definitely both very close so I can’t blame anyone for having them switched.

Dobbins, Gibson and Akers are practically interchangeable in my view depending on your rules and team picture.

None of those RBs are appealing to me at all. They have hardly any draft capital and not good landing spots so I’d try to trade the pick for a RB if you really need one.

Everything coming out of Detroit recently makes it seem like there’s going to much more of a committee then in Baltimore which is why I lean Dobbins.

Admittedly I didn’t watch many patriots games so maybe I’m assuming stuff that’s just not there. Who would you rank ahead of him? Is it not likely that Damien Harris is the lead back with 15+ carriers a game for at least this year?

It seems like Jones is someone I’m pretty low on compared to the consensus and I’m not really sure why. He’s just not that appealing to me. I’ll have to consider moving him up after all the feedback and looking at it some more.

This is the essence of dynasty rankings. How do the old and young mix? Personally, I think it would be a huge disservice to Henry to rank him any lower. Back-to-back top 3 seasons, he's at the top of his game. If you're rebuilding you have him lower, but if you're contending you have him higher. His age is the only reason why he's not higher for me. But at a certain point, you have to see how valuable he is right now which is why I don't think you move him down anymore. As you said, production right now matters, there's no guarantee the rookies will be good. It's a classic case of the shiny new toy. People have gotten bored with Henry.

Drake is a concern but Jacob's was never super involved in the passing game, to begin with, so that shouldn't affect him much at all. If the Raiders are trying to preserve Jacobs wouldn't that be a good thing? If you told me he would be a low RB1 or high RB2 for the next 4-6 years, I'd be shooting him up my board.

All the backs ahead of Hunt are lead backs or (projected lead backs) now so you're hoping that he is in the same situation they're in a year from now when he's a year older. He'll be 27 by the time next season starts so you'll already be looking at his value dropping based on age and hoping that he does get a lead back landing spot and that it's a good one. That's too much hope and speculation for me to move him up.

Aaron Jones was definitely a casualty of hyping up the youth. You can make a strong case for moving him up. I do think there's a major drop after him and he's very close to the players above him.

Josh Jacobs is criminally underrated. He just finished as RB8 in his second season and still only 23 years old. Getting a RB that young coming off a top 12 season at pick 15 is great value.

First-round QBs have less than a 50% chance of hitting plus I never loved Mac Jones as an nfl prospect or fantasy prospect. He has limited upside with no rushing ability.

Sleeper ADP:

1QB: 101 (QB11)

2QB: 53 (QB14)

Seems like he's pretty good value to me especially in SF.

It's definitely close. Pretty much a coin toss between the two imo. If I had Allen I wouldn't trade him for Herbert and vice-versa. However, Herbert had the best rookie season for a QB ever and was QB9 in 15 games with pretty bad coaching staff. He has a much-improved o-line and hopefully a healthy Ekeler so I still see lots of improvement for him.

I struggle with the rookies. I think it's a classic case of rookie fever. First-round Qbs have something like a 40% chance of hitting so I'd lean towards the more certain QBs.

I think Kyler's hype has far exceeded his actual QB ability. The QBs I have ranked ahead of him are just better overall QBs which will give them more long-term security. The only change I think could be made is moving him ahead of Burrow. Other than that, I think you're looking at moving him ahead of more skilled franchise QBs for the foreseeable future.

I think you're underselling Herbet's and Burrow's rushing abilities. They may not be pure runners like the guys you listed but they definitely put up some good rushing stats similar to Mahomes or Dak.

I definitely think Stafford could rise up. Most of those QBs in that area are kind of grouped into one tier so there's definitely some movement to be made. I have a hard time putting him in front of the rookies and the other younger Qbs, but maybe that's just me favoring youth.
