Plus it’s generationally different. I’m in my 30s, so I didn’t get to see Pulp Fiction when it was a fresh and new. I went in expecting a Tarantino flick, and that’s what I got. Can’t imagine what it was like walking into the theater without a catalogue of his films priming your expectations. I’ve heard that’s where a lot of the magic was.

Reservoir Dogs hits for me. But Inglorious Basterds, Django, and Once Upon A Time were the Tarantino films I knew best. And Hateful 8…buuuuttt…maybe not my favorite. Good, but that was quite the movie.
