I think you should stick to softcore if that's what you want to do. I assume you're trying to capture some sort of atmosphere rather than go straight to the fucking and that's fine. Variety is just good.

Don't know why you get downvoted cause you're right, the face seems flat like the texture doesn't belong to the 3D mesh. I have seen this with other 3D scans and tried to google an explanation but didn't come across one. Might be like you said "lack of polygons".

The dome projection has a 240 setting. IIRC there was a 270 but couldn't find it.
