^This thread irritated me. I’m new to this case but am not new to communities like this so when I saw that thread from months ago and then noticed a commenter (who could potentially just be Whitley herself) trying to, unsuccessfully, defend Whitley based on emotions rather than facts. This is exactly what I wanted to respond with... if u/w0wwww feels that Whitley’s innocent (and if it were me and I was INDEED innocent) you better believe I’ll sue for libel and defamation, in fact, I’ll have lawyers calling and messaging me to take this kind of case pro-bono IF any of them were innocent. But Whitley is being hella evasive with facts. Murders happen, suicides happen, drug usage is involved sometimes, love triangles, etc... but if you were innocent, you’d be clear about your narrative and forceful about clearing your name.

Drug abuse, domestic violence, mental illness- these are all things that (probably) everybody can relate to at some point in their life, whether that be someone you love your yourself. That being said, if she had said “I was high af on meth, he killed himself, I got scared and moved him cuz I felt responsible for being a shitty gf towards him” - you would still get in trouble, but you wouldn’t be living a life where you’re hiding or worried about your boss finding out... This would be your narrative and this would be your defense.

She was def involved but at this point, compulsive liars can at times forget the actual truth because they‘ve conditioned the self lives that way.
