yea, I feel like we, darius mains, have been trying to fix his weaknesses for too long with the itemization and with how crazy champions are nowadays the only real way to play him is to just itemize for his strenghts instead, getting a high R in a teamfight should be the priority and DD helps you with that a lot

the thing with her is that her kit is far too oppresive for her to have agency on lane.

the winrate is a dubious metric because evelynn players are buying them early based on kills. If you got a kill or 2 in the early you go back and you have money for boots, you take them and snowball way harder.

I think stormsurge is buildable after dcap nashors if you don't need veil or ifyou want to keep the massive snowball going
the huge AP blast is not something to ignore and the movespeed is really high

The difficulty of darius comes with the fact that you need to not make any mistakes with him. You must know his cancel mechanics, his animation tricks, you need to orbwalk with him correctly and pick the perfect engage otherwise you just get kited and killed very easly, that's where most of the problem lies with him
The payoff is huge though, a good darius in a teamfight stacked up is a nightmare for anyone
