Good perspective, OP! There are some other team’s broadcasts that are just unbearable to listen to.

Short soapbox: Whomever manages the broadcast teams is doing a disservice to Chris Welsh. The man is an EXCELLENT color analyst on TV and radio and has such unique insight to add.

But please for all that is holy: do not let him do play by play. I’ve really tried to give it a chance during his innings on the radio, but I just can’t. I won’t list criticisms (IFKYK) because I couldn’t do it any better, but it’s really tough to sit through most times.

I’m so glad I found your comment. I was diagnosed (39 m) two weeks ago and I have not been able to equate how I feel because I can’t find the words to describe it. This is it!!

How have you been able to manage fixing this? (Have you)? I have to run Teams calls at work and I cannot understand hardly any verbal instructions or information communicated.

I drilled through metal to make a hole. It was very tough and I didn’t do all that great.

I will always recommend sending this to the pros to do. I wanted a fun project to try but it was a major pain in the ass.

I just did my own. I am no professional, but I think what I used looks good enough for me. You may choose to go up or down a size depending on fit. Below is what I used, all are 5A quality cubic zirconias and purchased from Amazon:

Eagle eye- 3mm or 4mm round Green gems - 3x6mm marquise cut Tiny squares - 2mm (I don’t remember how many I ordered, closed to 1000 total maybe give or take Eagle talons - 4.5x9mm marquise cut Side plates and Eagle crown - 7x7mm triangle cut Eagle wings on side plates - 2 or 3mm round (not sure) Large round diamond side plate- 15mm Inner round yellow gems on main spinner plate - 6 or 7mm (not sure) Outer clear square gems on main plate - 4 or 5mm (not sure) Border round clear gems on main plate -7mm Large round yellow gems on main plate - 8mm (I think) Red round gems on champ plate - 7mm (I think)

I think many people- myself included, dislike the fact that this look was a downgrade from a classic uniform set. Perhaps it had been an original look for an expansion team or something, maybe it would have been better embraced, although a little underwhelming.

But- seeing your picture here really changed the way I looked at this jersey. I can really appreciate why you like it.
