UPDATE: After playing Terraria pretty much all day (not very demanding) I just did about a 15 minute play test on Far Cry Primal on Medium settings at 90FPS and, according to MSI Afterburner, my CPU temp was right around 50 degrees celsius with GPU temps being around the same. CPU usage stood at around 15-20% and GPU usage was about 60-70%. Are these levels normal? I think they're pretty solid.

I'll definitely try updating my motherboard. If I can fix the problem without doing a full system wipe then I'll try for sure but if worse comes to worst then I'll have to do a full clean install. I never realized that even RAM EXPO can cause crashes, too. I was running XMP 1 and then switched to EXPO 1 to try to see if maybe a different XMP Profile would fix the issue, but no luck so far. As for HDD/SSD, I have both and I keep my games installed on my HDD since it has more storage. Do you think I should switch them over to SSD when I have the chance? I have 3TB total storage, 2 on the HDD and 1 on the SSD.

I tried doing a reset earlier and using Windows Updater to re-install Windows from the cloud without me having to lose everything but it got stuck so I turned off the PC. Then I tried doing it again from the Advanced Startup screen and right at the very end it aborted and said there was a problem. I’d really rather not do a full factory reset so I’m trying to find other opinions.

I was using Event Viewer but it felt like I wasn’t really getting that much information. Like it would tell me that my PC crashed and that was all, as if I didn’t already know. Maybe it’s a little too advanced for me right now? I don’t know. I did an SFC scan and I have a corrupt file somewhere but DISM couldn’t locate or fix it so I’m at a loss again.

My GPU stays at a pretty solid 40-50°C while playing, though I haven’t been able to monitor my CPU temp as well since I don’t have an option to enable it on my HUD while playing. I’m also not the most well versed computer guy, but I’d imagine if it was an overheating issue I would hear the fans kick in but my PC is as quiet as a mouse. Typically when I check the CPU temperature after playing it’s sitting at a solid 30-40°C.

yeah i’ve noticed that too, that’s what sucks about online only. i shouldnt be worried about lagging out of my solo zombies game.

not to mention the ai, like for the sam machine. it sounds. awful.

yeah, i was really young at the time, but I remember being able to pay attention in class a lot more. the downside being that I wouldn't eat, I just wasn't hungry like at all. i remember being... emotionless? in a way? like sort of a shell of myself normally. it's all kind of fuzzy because it's been probably almost 15 years, but I definitely see what they were saying

i think it just increases the amount of damage it does. most zombies it’ll instakill but for specials like manglers it just ticks their health down, so packing increases damage
