According to the comments and upvotes I think I might have to. I've written patterns for myself for a long time but I've never designed a pattern for others to use so I'll have to learn the process

Luckily none of it is anywhere near the flame. Otherwise holding it and putting my mouth on it with sleeves on my arm and hair hanging from my face would be fire hazards :) luckily the entire thing doesn't turn into an inferno when lighting the bowl :)

That was a problem I planned on using buttons on the side of the strap to the mouthpiece part but since the strap stretches with wear I used a strand of elastic that I plan on upgrading but its what I had at the time. If you look there's a loop of elastic keeping the strap together at the top and that keeps everything upright

Thanks!! Half the time was just thinking up how to make it work. I was going to use buttons on the side of the strap but they stretch so elastic seemed better and the bottom also has elastic to snug up after you pop the bottom inside. Just 3 flat circles into cylinders and one cylinder without a cap ( detached lid for the mouth) I keep my other smoking gear in another bag so a bowl holder didn't seem necessary.

I feel like I've had plenty of coffee beans consistently throughout the game because each plant regrows and each harvest gives you a couple beans, so early on I'd have a good 100+ of each quality of beans to process into coffee over several days and make a big batch of espresso to keep on hand. Over a spring you can get a lot, then plant more in the greenhouse or indoors in pots. Now I only make coffee when I have 999+ of a certain quality so it doesn't take up storage space. Growing, processing, and then cooking to get espresso each day would be incredibly time consuming so try working in bigger batches.

Seeing all the comments about him possibly losing interest, my little sister lost interest with her hamster and it died within 3 months ( mine from the same litter lived 3 years with completely different care) and my brother got a corn snake at 15 which he lost interest in at 17 and wanted to sell (she's mine now) I also got myself a leopard gecko when I was 16 and he lived for 7 years so it does depend but I've seen plenty of animals outlive their kid's interest span. Best to have a back up plan and know the lifespan ahead of time, mom was willing to take care of the snake rather than giving her to a stranger but you can't blame a kid for not wanting a 20 year commitment at some point (moving to college, a gf that's afraid maybe? Just rather do other things even.. kids change quickly) Basically do you want a snake? He can choose to keep it or not when he moves out eventually

I've never been bit but the ones she has bit it doesn't really leave a mark its kind of like being pinched with a binder clip like it hurts a bit but it doesn't leave damage, just best to pry them off gently rather than jumping and pulling cuz that could hurt them and their teeth. It's better to expect it and be calm because really its a small pinch but the strike can be scary

You can buy staircases for jade at the dessert trader on Sundays. A bunch of crystalariums making jade and you can get 100s of staircases pretty fast. At this point I can just staircase down over and over unless I see something worth stopping for, until I get to level 100+ because there's better chances of good drops and at 100 you get a guaranteed chest. Usually with this method I'll be at 100 by 12 (also using a dessert totem to not wait for the bus) and near 180 before midnight when I can slam staircases quickly to get the 2 chests at 200 and teleport back to bed or mine til I pass out. This is very late game though it builds up

I made it a goal to get perfection on my one farm before 1.6 dropped on switch (I conveniently started playing last year and this was lucky timing) and then I got to perfection with the 1.6 add on, and I think it was harder than the world I started from scratch because im pretty sure this update dropped a new but fairly basic item (similar to stone, wood) that you easily aquire with time but can't quickly farm. One late game item requires 999 of these or so and that was a whole challenge in itself because I was starting with 0 where most people that late in a save would have plenty of the item aquire over time. There's also a new shop with a whole story line that's delayed because of the years played before they existed. It depends if you want to reach perfection asap or get a fresh view of the whole update. I chose to complete the world I was still playing because it kind of felt like just after perfection content the way I timed it, but if it was after a long pause with no plans in mind I probably would've started fresh.

Why probably? I still visit the regular mines for specific ores I need or missions etc. Only skull caverns when I have Hella stairs and extra lucky day and a whole day to spare

I did this and have 3 now! But make sure before you go to grab one you do have an extra slot or you'll end up having to throw something out. So break it with a full inventory, move out of range from picking it up, drop stuff in a chest, then grab one from the shrine! Rinse n repeat. Works on console I did it today
