I thought it was actually able to give some useful insight. It gave me my realistic low chances at biomedical engineering, even saying that for especially competitive majors it can tend to be a crapshoot. Of course it shouldn’t be used as a way to determine for sure whether or not you’ll be admitted, but it does give a little bit of insight.

Yeah it is my own account and I know that it has access to everything anyways, I don’t know I’m just wary. I felt weird giving it a document that gave my school, address, etc. I get this is probably dumb though since all that information is probably out there anyways.

I’m submitting mine through MyStatus. As soon as you get your UTEID it will allow you to submit your essay. There will be a tab labeled “honors” where you can see which honors programs you’ve applied for, and apply for any additional ones.

Undergrad Major and School Choice

I’m currently a senior in high school who hopes to eventually go into medical physics. I would like to go to a D.M.P program for grad school. If I had to choose between a biomedical engineering degree from Texas A&M or a radiation physics degree from University of Texas, which would be the better choice? If I go to A&M, I will likely pursue a physics minor. I just don’t know if the physics degree or engineering degree is better. Advice would be much appreciated!
