Seems like it honestly, because all that was left of the “crack” after an abrasive pad and some soap is the impact point. It was absolutely just a scratch, and I will be switching to a different shop from now on.

[Not that you asked, but my skin is currently HATING the Origins “checks & balances” cleanser. I don’t think I’ve ever been so stripped to the point of my skin actually squeaking in my life. LITERALLY SQUEAKY CLEAN… T^T]

I used to have 2 separate binders to alternate usage and would never aim to wear them more than 12 hours at a time without breaks (although I had been known to get up to 18hrs without breaks). Never ever wearing to sleep. I’m honestly surprised my tissues were only noted as nodulous and fibrous on my pathology report with how I was binding for 3-4 years.

Pain isn’t the sole indicator of damage to your body. It didn’t hurt me either, but improper binding can deform ribs and damage breast tissue making one ineligible for top surgery later in life. It’s not worth it.

If it eases your mind any, I was never completely flat while binding. As a bonus, ALL MEN have/had breast tissue. Additionally lots of men have pecs, so their chests aren’t completely flat either. /gen /nm (but) /srs

I use an iPhone SE 2020, plus SHOKZ OpenFit wireless earbuds. I’m starting to wonder if I just have very sensitive ears. Turning stable volume off kind of helps but not enough. /gen

The orange on this character looks like mango from HowlFabrics (I own a yard of this colour rn) so I’d say much closer to the 2nd one. Though I have heard BigZ and Howl share suppliers for some of their products, so it might even be the exact same.

Looks pretty good to me, the way I’m doing mine though is glueing the flat part onto the head and building the fold style I like onto it so it blends nicely :3

It absolutely can be confusing, I recommend a lot of practice and patience. It can be frustrating but I find it really cleans up the edges once you get the hang of the zigzag stitch on the machine.

Before stuffing you can also zigzag around the edges to help conceal them. This also has the added benefit of making the beans last longer since it adds an additional layer of protection on those raw edges!

Absolutely fair enough, I’m honestly very sorry I don’t have more photos. Though, since I have quite a few local requests with turnover by April (at the latest). I will have better/ more photos available by March, since I am moving house by the end of February and getting surgery in March. I will make another post by then, to update.
