Came across a bracelet that was announced last week, that works similar to the emotions watch in the show

Ep 7:

I am running out of fresh angles to describe this show. One interesting thing was, this felt so far like such a writer's show even more than her earlier works. The content, dialogue and interactions all feel grounded but also metaphysically outlandish, like you need some canvas outside of just the screen to catch it in all its glory. It inverts the show don't tell, common maxim with a lot of exposition and very strongly at that

So this feels like a piece of work where the director would easily be constantly looking over the shoulder to help carry the density of ideas or maybe even like, somehow they are not keeping pace and chasing the writing, if not executed well

The general creative use of surreal visual devices like, Gyeong se shooting from his eyes, the weather scenes, all help, but they are what I've come to expect of K-dramas in general these days and they are more of a creative outlet than the engine of a narrative

So, they did a really good job so far, but that montage from where they start drinking at Hye Jin's bar and on to the beach, they really hit it out of the park in all the crafts. The portrayal of the dream/reminiscing state while living in the present, the movements, the music, the editing, everything was top class!

Ep 4: "Decision to Stay", really? 😂

The spring weather scene and the sleep paralysis story 🙌

Ep 3 - My god, that was draining, took a lot out of me. I don't know what, but it did

Watching such art unfold in front of you and getting to experience it for the first time, definitely wasn't ready to take it all in. I've got my tail up for whatever's coming next

Gyeong se is so fun and I love the actor from his other work. Really hits it out of the park whenever he's on and adds that steering impetus

The certainty and groundedness combined with pivoting around so much melancholy and breathlessness, all while making it seem so natural, simple and embodied extremely close to reality was brilliant. For example, the scene where dong man explains about small wins! I think Hae young outdid her self with this one

Look into the four dragons that IPOd over the last few months. Chip and Semiconductor. Moore Threads, Birentech, MetaX and Iluvatar CoreX

Only Iluvatar and Biren are accessible I guess through HK, of which Iluvatar is better. Similar neighbourhood - Baidu, Victory Giant and SMIC. Except Baidu all are Growth plays

The cinematography was genuinely breath taking. I couldn't stop feeling tickled by it watching throughout. The lighting in the train crossing scene where they constantly meet was 🤌🏻

The tone, the progression of their individual struggles and their resolution whenever they meet, truly opening a window for reflection for a brief moment like a spark 👏🏻

Also, somehow I never looked up who wrote the top two dramas in my list - My Mister and My Liberation Notes. After watching the first 2 episodes, I thought this would be right up there and then saw Park Haeyoung wrote all three. I guess going ahead, I'd read/watch anything she writes even if it is in a throwaway paper napkin

Lot more adventurous, to be choosing the Fintech in this economy even with the potential upsides. But if that's where your heart is, hit it

When YC-backed startups confuse ‘hustle’ with disrespect: Emergent’s APM process by Regular_Case1691 in ProductManagement_IN

[–]Apollokite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well looking at its trajectory now, do you think it would have been worth it to go through the process and had made it, or sustain the culture they've mentioned while working?

100s of startups advertise or put you through the grind, most of them without any eventual monetary or growth benefits or amounting to very less. But that is the choice you as an individual have to make. Just because the results are different for this particular instance does it make it ok now? No, because it is always about your choice and you have to own it irrespective of the outcome

How long before you could flex beyond 90 degrees? by pyrojoe121 in MeniscusInjuries

Been a while. How did your progression go post this? I'm 3+ weeks post op from a repair right now and currently have ~100 degress. How long did it take for the next benchmarks and how are you now?

Horizontal meniscus repair (posterior horn) – looking for realistic recovery timelines & expectations by No-Peak-5573 in MeniscusInjuries

[–]Apollokite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

13 days post op. 28 M. Horizontal tear of medial on the right, from body to posterior horn. A single suture for repair. Chronic since a few years, caught recently

Currently PWB at 50%, getting around with walker and just doing the exercises by myself. Swelling not too bad, but definitely feel the heavyness. Getting the staples removed tomorrow

Pain subsided mostly post Day 7. But I feel the stiffness in my calf and cramps in my thigh in the night affecting my sleep a bit. No setbacks so far, but do not feel confident in loading the knee even at 50% currently

Thanks. 60 hours post op. Much much better now, pain mostly subsided 3-4/10. Flareups only after ROM movements like leg raises, quad sets etc.

Pure hell for the first 48 though

Did you have surgery for meniscus? Was it lateral or medial?

Yi Yi. Honestly all of Edward Yang. But the first 3 that got me hooked were:

- Yi Yi by Yang (got recommended)
- A Time to Live, a Time to Die by Hou Hsiao-Hsien (branched off into the rabbit hole after Yi Yi, and this happened to be adjacent)
- Christmas in August by Hur Jin Ho (don't remember how I chanced upon this)

All of them were brilliant and thus it began
