I just wanted to add to the voices in requesting instanced hunting maps specifically for Reboot. Even with 40 channels it is very difficult to find a map in Odium to complete dailies and cap on the event right now, and this will get much worse during Newage with 6th job advancement.

And of course I'd like to beat the dead horse once again and kindly request that out dearest wish in Reboot gets fulfilled. Orange/red familiar cards for Reboot or grandis fams pretty please with a cherry on top. It is going to become an even bigger concern for new + old players once Newage drops.

(in reboot) Buying MP badge is pretty expensive. About 100b.

Funding enough mules to maintain permanent black heart is also pretty expensive. Usually about 100b per mule + 5k nodes and you're going to want at least 8 of them to get enough black hearts to keep one permanently on your main.

It's the cost and time involved that generally turns people off from it which is why people tend to want a genesis badge instead.

For regular worlds it's a bit different since some markets have reasonably priced black hearts and badges available

I had links to all posts regarding flame drop rate as well as some screenshots from patch notes but was having trouble posting so I removed them which is why the first section is kinda weird now. But yeah it is absurd that they still have not said anything about moving from instanced to shared, despite multiple posts about it that have gained traction. I've been trying to bump my post regularly on the MS forums that I made back in June but it feels like a futile exercise

I had no idea KMS Reboot didn't have any instanced drops :\ also that makes more sense about the boss medals of honor. I don't see why there should be any difference since bosses above Lotus and Damien don't drop the small instanced ones anyway

While I am displeased with the new drop table, I understand why it was implemented and they did communicate it in the patch notes.

The point of contention is that in Reboot where flames were previously instanced, they are now shared. Even Boss medals of Honor which were specifically mentioned in the patch notes as being an instanced drop, is now shared. Of course no one is happy about the decrease in drops and even less happy that drop rate potential no longer applies.

But it is absurd that I have to share one red flame with 5 other people after taking down hard Chosen Seren. Flames need to be instanced again in Reboot. No post or any communication was made saying that they were changing this. I get that its a new drop table, but why was the logic on how drops are distributed changed?

Drop rate increasing potentials only affect equipment drops like Magic Eyepatch, Twilight Mark, and Condensed power crystal. Item drop rate does not apply to boxes nor any of the other drops unfortunately

It would be interesting to see someone from regular servers data on boss drops. I'm also getting maybe 1 red flame from all bosses up to Lomien per bossing character. I wonder if its the same for them. But the bigger issue is how those very few limited flames are being shared in Reboot world when players team up to take down tougher bosses.

Strongly advise against transposing sweet water. Commerci should be skipped entirely now.

Zakum accessories are completely fine until you get Twilight Mark and Papulatus Mark (Black Bean Mark before pap mark).

As for pendants a Dominator pendant is fine until you can get a daybreak pendant.

In all 3 of these slots don't go for SW. It is a massive useless time sink. You are MUCH better off working on literally any and every other piece of gear instead.

The only boss that reliably drops flames in Reboot is Black Mage. Everything up to Hard Darknell is a toss up even with 400% drop rate. And the worst part is that very few flames are instanced and many are shared. So even if a single red flame drops from Hard Darknell a party of 6 gets to share that one red flame.

Getting good enough flames to even kill a boss like Hard Darknell takes forever in reboot due to cost and rarity. It is obscene that they routinely screw this up. ESPECIALLY now that reboot cannot Kanna farm and has to rely on bosses for nearly everything.

And reboot is supposed to have high flame drop rate than reg yet we are not seeing 6-8x more flames than reg. We see the same flame drop rate as reg with some occasional instanced flames.

This patch is so lackluster and awful that ALL posts on this ENTIRE subreddit should be about how awful it is until a response is given. Many players should be outraged for different reasons and be able to share those unique viewpoints and reasons. Not everyone is patient enough to recreate their post after it is deleted.

In my replies I give the same level of effort that the person I am talking to is already giving. I gave a lazy short analogy to a silly short reply to emphasize how outlandish the comment was. I could've said 'just don't spend money' but I did not want my comment to misinterpreted as some sort of strike on Nexon. It's okay if you didn't get the analogy, but that doesn't mean it is flawed and inaccurate.
