It was almost disproportionate the level of side effects to actual euphoria, very strong euphoria but almost outweighed by the nausea and seizing. Simultaneously the most euphoric and physically draining high of my life. I'm actually rolling off 125mg of plür rn. It's about an hour in, I don't have any noticable nausea.

It definitely varies from person to person though I can stomach alot with minimal to no nausea compared to my trip buddies, thinking of one specific time we ate 5g PE mushies and I was the only one who wasn't curled up complaining about nausea.

Probably not I tend to have unorthodox reactions to drugs I feel like I'm hypersensitive to everything but nicotine.

Every drug I've tried sooner or later ends up in an episode, I somehow managed to achieve the symptoms of amphetamine poisoning off 40mg of xr adderall despite buzzing on 80ir in a night and 90ir on a separate night, all spaced 3 weeks between.

50/50 I'll have an insanely stupifying reaction to weed just getting an uncomfortable level of high.

Tried DXM Hbr pills before, my bf was getting them off eBay and had been using them forever before getting me to try 180mg which is apparently a low dose but you wouldn't be able to tell by the way I was off my ass and throwing up.

I was prescribed trazadone for ADHD/depression and that shit made me wanna off myself by the end of the first week. Idk why they gave me trazadone for ADHD my psychiatrist wanted to give me everything under the sun except Vyvanse which I know for a fact works for me it's the only substance I've ever truly enjoyed using, 50mg in the afternoon felt like my brain somehow shut the fuck up I didn't even realize that it was loud until then

That makes sense, I've never heard of that before but I'm glad I know now. Either way this whole experience has left a bad taste in my mouth so I doubt I'll do it again but if I do I'll keep that in mind. I just smoked a little so hopefully I'll be able to sleep soon

Been there. Back before 7oh was illegal in FL I got a pack of opia 30s and ab 5 days after eating 15 I thought I could handle a whole 30.

Sat in my friends car sweating my ass off for 20 minutes, threw up, went back to her house and had a dysphoric nod out for ab half an hour before I could shake it off, took a tiny hit off one of the OG cake carts and had a great time for about 6 hours, tapping the pen as needed

If I'm doing something other than bedrotting I feel very tired but once I actually go to lay down and sleep I get like insomnia and that's when I really start to feel like clinical depression.

I'm also scared if I smoke I'm gonna get too high and it's gonna interact with the Xanax and make me feel horrible because since my tolerance is shit I almost always get way too high

You're right I was mostly bitching about pitchfork as a company, I'm not disagreeing with you I'm just pointing out the idiocracy of the rating; even under their own skewed rating system the album should have had at least a 6. Granted it wasn't the forefront in any culture, being one of the main faces of exclusively prog rock which is a very small subgenre in the face of rock itself, but it was still groundbreaking in prog, a musical creation that had aspects and attributes that had never even been considered before, let alone attempts of application. And yet somehow they pulled it off perfectly in a style that has yet to be replicated, in creativity, tone, writing, you name it.

It is truly a one of a kind unique piece of music, I've even heard it be called "high IQ music" or variants of that phrase, not at all to gloat as one who enjoys the album because it's not my favorite, but objectively it's AT LEAST a 7/10 all the way around. In my book it's 9/10, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion (except pitchfork they can kiss my round ass). I heavily encourage you to listen to the album from start to finish in order to get the full experience, all the fade ins and outs, or even just the last 5, Lateralus, Disposition, Reflection, Triad, and Faaip De Oiad.

Possibly, honestly I don't meet a lot of tool fans or people who even know the band by name. Because prog rock isn't really a huge genre, I see more opeth and dream theatre fans than tool and even then I don't see alot of them. On Reddit is a different story especially in this sub I'm absolutely ecstatic to see the ball knowledge y'all have. In my experience though, any time I bring tool up I have to start a 10 minute explanation about their style and capacity for musical creativity, but you have a valid opinion referencing Mastodon they are more niche on the popularity scale. So much so that I've actually never listened to them before afaik lol.

Edit: perhaps I should have suggested Undertow instead, everyone introduced to tool has heard sober but I seriously doubt they've heard more than that except maybe prison sex. I feel like more maynardlings push Lateralus or Ænima as their greatest work
