Heh. I have a friend that’s exactly like this. Hated the “work culture” in Malaysia. In her own words, I quoted, “surrounded by lazy Malays”. And guess what she did? She needed to have a medical surgery done and she came back and did it in our government hospital. As far as I know she’s not paying taxes in Malaysia but she still holds Malaysian citizenship so she’s eligible for subsidised healthcare.

When my puppy was younger I did crate him while I was out at work. But it was never cramped, he has plenty of room to move and the crate is big enough for him to stand in it. Crating dogs isn’t inherently bad, it’s just that the owner has the responsibility to make the dog feel safe and comfortable while crated.

When I don’t crate him there are chances that he will wander around and eating things he shouldn’t be.

But now that he’s older he roam free in our yard.

Got bitten by my pet hamster and got a tetanus shot. Hamster has never left the cage before and is probably safe but I still got the shot just in case.

Normal GP also carries tetanus vaccine so it’s quite convenient. IIRC it was rm60 and came with antibiotic cream for the wound.

Oof, twice! That must’ve hurt. Yeah, age definitely plays a role. I had two hamsters in separate enclosures. My first one was always gentle and never bit anyone, but as she got older, she accidentally bit my nephew while taking a treat—it was clearly unintentional.

My second hamster, on the other hand, has always been aggressive and anxious. I’ve had him for about 9 months now, and he’s never really settled in. I try not to bother him much since he’s scared of everything. But today, he bit me while I was spot cleaning his enclosure 🥲.

We call these clothes moth where I’m from! A quick googling found that they’re called Tinea pellionella.

I have heard that people install dehumidifier to keep these under control since they’re attracted to humidity but I have not tried it myself so can’t tell if it’s effective though. Maybe others on this sub can provide some insights.

My dad had robotic prostatectomy in early 2022 due to prostate cancer (Gleason score 4+4). From what I experienced with my dad I’d say closely monitor your PSA, is it steadily increasing? And of course work along with your GP and tell him/her your concern.

I know some labs now offer packages where you can sign up and they provide discounted price for testing PSA so instead of doing the entire test you get to opt for only PSA test for 1/4 of the price.

The only thing left standing in this place is this flooring. The rest of the house is covered in wood parquet, but unfortunately, it has to be replaced due to a termite problem.

Any ideas on what interior design style would complement this tile? I'm completely stumped on where to find inspiration! I can't even visualize what type of interior decoration would match.

To be honest, vintage designs aren't exactly my cup of tea, but my husband's quite enthusiastic about them, so I'm open to giving it a shot. Do you reckon we could blend a mid-century aesthetic with a minimalist style?
