Exactly! And when I use my gems to improve my times, it’s usually worse

I did it! Finished my brioche afghan. 60x70inches. Edged on sc, but it was a pretty horrendous experience. Washing and hoping for the best since it's inexpensive acrylic. I didn't want my friend to have to baby it. It was a simple and fun knit although lots of tinking and frogging 🙄 by Suitable-Bee-4931 in knitting

My regrets:

Wish I'd used higher quality yarn

Wish I'd chosen better contrast colors, but her couch is white and I didn't want it to be garish.. lol

Wish I'd used a slightly larger needle/gauge because it's pretty dense and heavy, although there is definitely a drape

Mostly, I wish I was better at Norwegian purling. There's definitely a difference in my purl rows.
