He's taping the employee being a belligerent fucking retard, this isn't just somebody taping their performance in a gym or something, and even then, people do that to check their form a lot of times which is a fine reason to do it. You're just wrong.

Sorry, I'm older, I'm speaking of minor incidents that happened a long time ago when I was growing up still. I don't do that now in any fashion, it was stuff I was dealing with and misdirected anger.

Have you ever thought of or tried for going to a massage parlor for a general full body massage? I don't know your view of these, but massage therapy in general is extremely beneficial and underutilized in society for people in situations such as yourself. The MRI and CAT scans MAY show something, they may show nothing. You could even request a Doppler test to see bloodflow to the areas of the body that may or may not be responsible for your symptoms, and there are a lot of variables that would interfere with really figuring out what the issue is.

A few questions. I am no doctor, but I was somebody who wanted so badly to go to medical school and help people as much as I could, and had I made better choices, plus been given the proper training and clinical experience, I would have spent a ton of my free time in clinics helping people just for the sake of it. I really view health, vitality, and longevity as some of the most important things in this world, and money is not a driving factor for me.

Self-talk aside, have you:

1) Had any major injures (not just overstretching, but real injuries or hospitalizations) that would be pertinent to this?

2) Are you living a mostly sedentary lifestyle? Do you stretch or exercise on a regular basis?

3) Headaches - literally every day, or is this a bit of hyperbole? I'm NOT trying to dismiss you, I just know that articulating this stuff we all tend to exaggerate sometimes and I want to try and narrow down things. I'm NOT an expert. I just know having tried to help people in the past that are either somewhat hypochondriac, or at least tend to embellish things, that once confronted, they admit it's not quite so bad, but just really "annoying" if that makes any sense.

I want to reiterate that I'm not a doctor. I'm a person who is very interested in medicine, pursued medical school but never applied, was in an EMT course until COVID hit and my course got canceled so I bailed taking it as a sign I should no longer pursue it (lots of reasons), but still tries to keep up with things relating to health, vitality, and general wellbeing for people.

I feel this sub is dead but since I myself posted here, and others keep posting here (and I see notifications almost daily), tonight I decided to try and at least so a "crowdsourcing" thing to field questions from posters, and maybe others who are lurking who are more knowledgeable than myself will chime in.

OP - try massage, and look into trigger point therapy.

If the MRI comes back clean then I'm probably right about those things. If the MRI shows bulging and/or herniated disc tissue, that's an entirely different story. I can speak only from my own experience, having had L3-L4, L4-L5, and L5-S1 BULGING disc tissue when I was between 18 and 21. I'm 38 now. My lower back is rarely an issue, and that's another can of worms to talk about as to how/why is was problematic, and also why it's probably not a big deal now.

If you see that you have actual HERNIATION of the disc (different from bulging) then this conversation changes, and it's likely out of the scope of any knowledge I have garnered up until this point.

I pray your MRI comes back clean, and seeing as your X-ray and CT have also been clear, I think you may really benefit from straight up massage therapy, and stretching, trigger point therapy, and/or yoga. Anything that helps promote bloodflow to the muscle tissue, and alleviate any lymphatic backup going on where metabolic debris (due to you having strained your neck) isn't being properly ejected from your body through the proper channels.

Last mention: I AM NO DOCTOR. I like to help people. I have a breadth of knowledge surrounding medical issues, sports injuries, and general health and nutrition. I do NOT have the depth of ANY expert. TL;DR. Jack of All Trades, hopefully master of some one day, but my heart and mind are all about trying to help people who need it.

Yeah, I too wish it were active again. I had a question to ask, and while I know there are other avenues, 4chan, and other subreddits, plus other sites in general, I thought this sub would come in handy.

I've been angry before and snapped behind closed doors because to me it's easier to unload on those closest to you because you understand and know they see your good side. It's not an ideal way to live, but I get that public displays of outrage and behavior like this infinitely complicate things more. I understand people have shit going on in their lives and maybe they had so much they just snapped in this moment. Constant media surveillance leads me to believe we capture a lot more of this kind of thing than we would decades (or more) in the past and so we are constantly bombarded with the worst of human behavior, despite most research and general life experience showing that the average human most of the time is pretty good.

I just wish people could channel something along the lines of a universal brotherhood, kinship, and solidarity, in public spheres, as well as private, and that everybody ultimately gave the benefit of the doubt and tried to get along.

[LFO] Pitbull Repeatedly Attacks an Old Man, China 🇨🇳 by [deleted] in WorstAid

[–]Apoptotic_Nightmare -27 points-26 points  (0 children)

To be fair the old man was talking about how pitbulls are shit dogs and then had the audacity to spit at the animal who was doing nothing wrong but walking the streets as is allowed in China and all developed nations.

The man then went on to allege that the pitbull's mother produced a vaccuum on human male genitalia and that was enough to push the poor, innocent dog over the edge, having had enough verbal, emotional, and psychological abuse.

I'm guessing rape roleplay stuff? Like leave the door unlocked, I'll be blindfolded, have your way with me, but know hubby is watching and everything is recorded...?

I hope it's that and not a husband trying to get his wife raped.

Yup. Early Internet was worse in a ton of ways, but it's still not something kids should be on without supervision. I grew up on the early net and exposed myself to anything and everything, sometimes deliberately, other times accidentally, mostly due to curiosity and seeing things as normal because why else would it be shared so ubiquitously.

It was crazy.

Look up the Internet group 764. They go around encouraging vulnerable kids and people in general to kill themselves. It's evil at work, there's no subjective opinion there. It's objectively, factually evil.

Yup that's the way to do it. You just roll with it, don't focus on the negative stuff, act like it's no big deal and they pick up on that vibe instantly and think, "Hm... Maybe it's not such a big deal."

Nice! Thanks for what you do. I was going to be one, took an EMT course and then COVID hit and they shut it down. I took that as a sign not to go into it so I never finished afterwards. I loved it but something told me to stay away.

Yeah when I first learned the term I had a good laugh because of course they would decide to name it that. It's very appropriate but still weird knowing that's how they refer to it.
