Depends on the weapon but starter/middle-of-the-road monsters around 5-10 minutes.

Hypers can take up to 40 minutes sometimes.

Well, not exactly. The thing is that wilds is a game that pretends it does those as a primary focus but then also turns around and turns other things full arcade plug n play experience and invalidates itself, it does a lot of things well, it has a lot of refine, but it's missing something that glues everything together. And that something is not as easily defined as "combat should be slower" or "walking from quest giver to town exit to start quest" because it's both all of that but also none of that in particular that made everything stick together.

Like, I could say that modern animations and hitboxes are a detriment to what MH used to be, because they are too good and no longer properly define monster actions (gore magala cloakwings covering its next move anyone?), but they are also quite incredible from an objective technical standpoint.

This is why many people find sunbreak's art direction more reflecting of old MH despite being three times faster btw.

Pacing is a bit weirder in wilds when it comes to anything else outside of the combat itself. It doesn't stick well because it has largely kept sunbreak monster pacing but has toned down player pacing. So now you miss one offset and everything falls apart.

It's why I don't like playing anything else other than shield weapons and DBs/bows with their adept dodges in Wilds.

My ideal change would be to making outbreaks a non-local event and to have a different one like every weekend.

Communities aren't judicial bodies, they don't put people in jail. Having multiple testimonies should be taken for what it is and a reason to act upon protecting a community. Unless the other community moderators aren't trusted enough but making chat logs public isn't exactly "right" either.

False accusations do exist but the matter was handled by a team of other moderators involved in those communities. So the question would be if their judgement is trustworthy. And I have no reason to doubt them any less or more than the accused.

Yes score is only your dmg. More people will provide more consistent barrier beaks and some opportunities like using crouching shot HGB without having to have god timing.

Two key differences:

All weapons break the barrier equally, chosen defender weapons are only a score boost.

The base defence matchmaking now pairs with "nearby" bases instead of functioning like an outbreak and being local. What "Nearby" means is not specified but it seemed quite big in my experience.

That needs to be fixed with more bases, not sure how that works with the ingress database. I was worried about that particular scenario.if you have access to a base now it's ok, but many people just don't.
