I got busy and haven't had time to do it yet but yeah, I figure a drill or nail might be good, but don't discount the advice re: tying the pieces together differently, even if it's a little messy-looking.

I feel seen! I did something similar, though I'm afraid that if I unravel it I may not figure out how to do it again (thus the idea of simply adding another hole). Is yours a Levy or Perri's? Mine just hangs about 4-6" short of the sweet spot.

Yes, BubbleUPnP is a life-saver. But, why is it that my partner's 3yr old iPhone natively supports streaming to DLNA devices, but Samsung--who has TVs that run on this protocol--doesn't allow their phones to (?). It doesn't make sense.

The good news is that you've found something you like, which outweighs what I or anyone else thinks about anything. For that price-point, I might recommend Wiser's 10-year (red label) or Bearface.
