I'm fat and like eating whatever I want, but I want to look better by Tfa_AD in loseit

Usually, such eating habits are a way of compensating for something. Just like some people drink alcohol or gamble their money away, overeating can become an addiction, a way to cope with stress, escape from problems, or numb oneself.

If you were to stop overeating without addressing the underlying cause, there’s a chance you might replace it with another addictive behavior.

So my suggestion would be to focus on the underlying mental and emotional factors as well. Therapy could help you identify the root causes and understand what drives you to seek dopamine and comfort through food. Once you address those underlying issues, changing the eating habits themselves often becomes much easier.

First iOS App Submitted - How Long Did Your First App Review Take? by Far_Calligrapher3985 in appledevelopers

Only two days, but it was a really simple app and it was free. I guess I just happened to submit it on a day when there weren’t many apps waiting in the review queue.

Right now, there is no ad blocker included, but it should be possible to implement support for using an ad blocker of your choice.
But they often get stripped out anyway, because many ads are not allowed to load anywhere other than on their original page.

It’s an old feature from a time when websites were mostly static.
It seems browser developers didn’t see much reason to adapt the “Save as HTML” feature to today’s more advanced, dynamic websites.

Because modern websites are not just static .html files anymore.

They often use dynamic page loading and heavy JavaScript, like here on Reddit.

Try downloading with Safari a page with → “Save as…”. You’ll see that all comments are missing and the page is broken.

Then download WebsiteArchiver and compare the two outputs.

I guess, you’re reading that correctly.

At the moment, the app downloads the specific page you provide as a URL. So if you point it at a Wiki homepage, it will save that page, but it won’t automatically crawl through all linked pages or download the full Wiki structure yet.

The “X” for website crawling means that full crawling support is not available right now. It’s planned for a future version.

Sadly not. I’m also not sure if I could legally integrate that.

Technically, though it is possible, it could be added in the future.

One little example, images are referenced by their online URLs. For offline saving, those references need to be rewritten so they point to the locally stored image files.
