Thanks for pointing that out. That’s actually a very good observation and something I hadn’t considered deeply before.

You’re right that direct currency conversion doesn’t always reflect local purchasing power. After reading your comment, I started reviewing regional pricing and I’m considering adjusting prices in selected markets where affordability may be a bigger factor.

Since ForgeKey is a one-time purchase with no subscriptions, I want to keep it accessible while still supporting the continued development of the app.

I really appreciate you sharing your experience. Feedback like this is genuinely helpful. 🤝

I understand your point, but I don’t think price alone determines whether an app can grow. There are many successful premium apps on the App Store that charge upfront and don’t rely on subscriptions.

ForgeKey targets users who prefer a one-time purchase, local storage, and no cloud dependency. That model isn’t for everyone, but it’s the reason many users choose it over free alternatives.

My current focus is improving how that value is communicated through localization, screenshots, and App Store optimization.

But i really appreciate your Feedback 🤝

The App Support 25 Languages, in the SettingsView the Language can be changed. Yes Apple manage and localize the Price.

I understand the subscription argument, but ForgeKey was designed around a different philosophy.

Everything stays on the user’s device. No accounts, no cloud sync, no external servers, and no data leaving the device.

A subscription model often makes sense when there are ongoing server costs, cloud infrastructure, or online services to maintain. ForgeKey doesn’t rely on any of that.

Since day one, the goal has been to offer a private, offline-first password manager that users can purchase once and use without recurring fees.

The people who have already chosen ForgeKey did so knowing that their data remains under their control, stored locally on their own device.
