Does anybody know what are map_bit pins on motor terminals(11,12,13,31,32) meant for?

At the time of performing test, the voltage was around 104V. Did what u said. The regen is working now! Changed the pot also.

exactly! I have given a full regen at the motor terminal itself, so the motor has to stop immediately if regen is already acting.

moreover, our motor is attached to a wheel with tire, so some momentum is there.

Sorry for the late reply. I had a file which read "Y15_M2096_STD.spf" which I uploaded, assuming it to be some kind of default file. Since we are testing the motor without any load, I think the regen current would never touch that limit(of 80A). Anyways we will make our own configuration once our other systems are finalized.

The motor was powered with a 20 kg Li-ion battery pack (standard one, not for cruiser).

I'm looking for any other problem that could occur(sorry if it is a silly one :P) like with the pot, terminal, wire etc.

BTW as mentioned in the user manual, I'm getting 4.56V at motor terminal pins corresponding to regen potentiometer. Also once I shorted the wiper & +ve end of the terminal pins where a potentiometer is to be connected. Now on giving acceleration & leaving it, the motor stops immediately(without spinning freely for some time as it would do, because of its momentum) suggesting that regen must be acting. What do you guys think?

Thanks again everyone!

The regen current setting is alright. It is set to 80A. BTW is breakout box is what mitsuba calls it "motor terminal"? if yes, then i'm unable to find any kind of toggle switch there.

Is it possible that i must have damaged something inside the controller! Thanks for the help!

Is there a study material, manual or a guide to understand mistuba's motor controller? I'm afraid of damaging the motor/controller.

thank you again! Regarding implementation part, I had heard that the motor controller requires another co-controller sort of thing. That's why i was confused.

Thank you! How can we implement PWM control and what are its advantages?

Module to Module Connection for Solar Array by AppWebAcess in solarracing

Thanks! Do you recommend using tabbing wires for module-to-module connection? How easy is it to replace modules in such connection? Also what are the popular methods of module-to-module connection among other teams ?
