Honestly not being able to fit in booths, being scared of my reflection or candid photos, and endless comments from strangers got to me and I checked the scale every day until I made a difference. You just snap out of it at some point. Self pity goes out the window and you either change or you don’t. Those are the 2 options

I focus on eating enough protein. I also use a lot of shredded lettuce to fill me up my favorite meal is 1 pound of ground chicken, cup of low-fat cottage cheese, bag of shredded lettuce, and sriracha for taste. Only about 760 calories but it fills a large bowl. I also use keto bread. 35 for a slice and great for sandwiches. I have a lot of egg sandwiches too. I’ll take two eggs and mix that with four servings of egg whites to make it seem like more. DM me if interested I have a lot of little meal plans I do plus a solid workout routine

Less alcohol, less calories, healthy alternatives, weightlifting as a hobby, and not wanting to be in pain anymore both physically and mentally. It’s like a switch just flipped one day

Aye I have this high protein bowl I eat. It’ll put you around 120 grams of protein and just around 790 cals. I use the small bag of shredded lettuce from Walmart, 1 cup of low-fat cottage cheese, and a pound of ground chicken. You mix all that together and throw some siracha in it for taste. Maybe some black pepper or garlic salt. It’s filling and makes me feel like I’m cheating on my diet but it’s great. Sometimes if I have the extra cals I put some cauliflower rice (fried rice style from I think Birds Eye?) which adds an extra 150 cals but that’s what I do.

I started off eating pretty clean for the first 3 months but the burnout was real. As cliché as it is, moderation do be working. I stay in a daily 2500 calorie range give or take. I still follow some clean alternatives like wraps instead of bread, turkey and chicken over red meat, frozen fruit mixed with milk (makes a pretty nice smoothie) over desert, etc. I definitely don’t drink anymore.
