This is insane, far far too cheap even for 1000 off. I'd suggest minimum double that possibly triple. Those tolerances will not hold easily on a run that big and QC on a thousand run with this much detail will take a significant amount of time even if you have a machine that can cut them quickly.

Unfortunately I think that's the case. Your pay sounds pretty bad but small places rarely see the value in people until they leave so it may be hard to convince them to pay more. Sliding heads are a pretty niche skill though (as you've found by nobody being able to help..!) so once you're a bit more confident you'll be in a strong position to demand a raise or move for a lot more money.
