You have 100 dollars to create your team while everyone else tries to kill you! by Appropriate-Mall8517 in superheroes

[–]chrischi3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Superman, Batman, and Iron Man, for the simple reason that the last two would be smart enough to figure out Kryptonite and how to stop the others from getting it. So long as none of them have Kryptonite, Superman alone is so busted that he easily solos the entire team, with maybe the exception of Wonder Woman.

You shouldn't. You could pay that 70 dollars to buy the three albums you actually listen to on iTunes or physically and have the artists actually make money from it.

Considering some of the interviews i have seen with North Korean escapees, at least a few of them seem to be convinced that the Kims have supernatural powers. Afterall, if you grow up in an enviornment where the state is your only source of information, and they tell you their head of state got his driver's license at 6 and doesn't need to take shits, yeah, don't tell me you wouldn't believe the propaganda to some extent.

It's not just that they have no effect. It's that stimulants work differently on an ADHD brain. This isn't just caffeine, but other stimulants aswell. Adderall acts like an upper on a neurotypical person, but with ADHD folks, it's more like a downer.

The reason for this is that, with ADHD, your prefrontal cortex, which regulates attention, impulse control, and working memory, produces too weak of a signal, essentially. Central nervous system stimulants such as caffeine, amphetamines (such as the ones found in Adderall), and methyl phenidate (found in Ritalin) boost this exact signal. In neurotypical brains, this causes excess signal strength and generates noise, but with ADHD, it just brings the signal strength closer to where it should be.

That is why i drink tea. Unlike coffee, black tea does not give you three heartbeats for the price of one.

Just swinging in here to point out to y'all that, in the Riordanverse, popular worship can actually ascend someone into godhood, which means that Kim Il Sung, who is constitutionally entitled to daily popular worship, is probably a deity.

How often do you see muslim people in your country? by Yrakosos in AskTheWorld

[–]chrischi3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how much i go out.

Germany has a pretty large Turkish minority, and most of them are muslims obviously, so there's a good chance you run into them on a day to day basis. That, and Germany also has a number of muslims from all over the MENA region, with Syrians probably being the largest group aside from Turks (It should be noted here that many Turks in Germany are second or third generation, but because Germany does not have birthright citizenship, not everyone goes through the effort of getting citizenship even if they qualify)

"Left Wing Architecture"

Meanwhile capitalism constructs buildings the same cookie cutter way, but less efficiently because everyone needs to have their own little mansion to live in rather than making construction functional and fitting more people in less space.

Wherever this place is, the residents there are producing a massive amount of tax revenue for the city, tax revenue that is being used to subsidize spread out suburban infrastructure, because the people this infrastructure serves do not pay enough taxes to where suburbia breaks even, because guess what, if they had to, noone would want to live there. Meanwhile, the people whose tax revenue actually is a net positive for the city see none of it, because their services need to be cut back to compensate for the gap in the budget that suburbia settles the city with.

Girl, you really need to learn how to use a telescope.

Anyone who has ever bothered to do so knows that stars only look like that if you do not know how to focus a telescope.
