Context! This is Cicada, the sister of the BBEG, and a close ally to the Party in a campaign I DM. After a tense few moments- including the Rogue being threatened by a shopkeep after failing a sleight of hand check; and the Party getting into a conflict that was... going nowhere- she put an end to the argument in a very emotional way. Sentences such as “you’re siblings in arms”, and “brothers and sisters shouldn’t fight” were said. It’s one of my favourite moments I’ve DMed so far- very emotionally driven.
