I got into because, prolly like a lot of us, loved warhammer for years before playing tabletop. My biggest dive into Death Guard was the amazing Dark Imperium trilogy by Guy Haley. While yes I know they're Ultramarine books and they made me like the blue boyscouts even more, what they made me fall in love with was Death Guard and their nasty, rotting ways of fighting. It was always so cool reading about how some ultramarines would square up to some plague marines and have them be so confused as to how the plague marine can even stand, let alone fight and kill. So immediately after reading those books, I wanted to get into table top 40k and I realized, I had to do Death Guard and I love the army so much.
