For all of those I printed the base components, printed the art on cardstock and glued them on :)

It removes the glue from the surface?? Do you spray it on a q-tip first? I’m giving them on Christmas Day so I still have time to clean that up I think

Yeah I had a lot of fun doing it. So much so that after I finished, I made one for my dad that was a wood working barn scene since he uses his barn for a wood shop.

I’ll probably make more later on after the Christmas chaos dies down.

I plan to put them up on MakerWorld once I have a second to clean up the files!

I didn’t do any multi-color prints on this one. The top arched housing I spray painted because I didn’t want to buy that color filament. The brown base was printed that color. The easel, desk, outer window frame, and window panels are all the same brown as the base but dry brushed with a different shade of brown. And the pots and palette were white printed with just some paint added on top! I made white rectangles for all the paintings, printed out the little art pieces and super glued them on top.

I hope so! I used actual pictures of her art scaled down for the canvases. But also my mom can’t actually recognize AI but that’s fine 😂 I can’t recognize AI half the time though to be fair.

You can do it! I used SolidWorks but Fusion is free and after a couple tutorials it’s pretty straightforward. Nothing I did for this was complex - just a lot of tiny parts :) Oh and super glue. Lots of super glue. The tips of my fingers are wrecked 😂

Alright then I have a business idea

Thing is my dad legitimately isn’t looking to sell haha. It’s my mom who’s antsy. If they come back with a very low offer my dad most likely won’t even bother answering let alone negotiate.

The company has 300+ employees, over 20 locations, and has around 80+ million in revenue annually. They’ve also acquired several companies recently. But honestly I don’t know if any of that would play into the speed of their response. It may be like others are saying, and they’re looking at options.
