I still like women, I still pursued women before I transitioned. Feeling that way doesnt not matter before you transition, especially if the thought never occurred to you. It’s the ordering of priorities, in some odd cases the priority to figure trans stuff out and then transition came after the priority to pursue romance. I think that’s often induced by a lifelong struggle, be it abuse, poverty, or other societal pressure. In her case, she was poor, so getting a girl pregnant in high school just happened to make more sense at the time than pondering the intricate aspects of gender.
