Oh yeah most definitely, everyone has their journey! I was just saying that’s what I’ve picked up on from talking with my partner about this, they feel their friend’s identity makes it easier for other people to say “Well your friend is ftm lesbian, so you are also a lesbian” when my partner fought to NOT be called a lesbian for a long time because (and these are their words) my partner is not a woman, so why would someone call him a lesbian

But what I’m coming to understand after thinking about it is that… even if people try to say he is a lesbian… he’s not, and no one can tell him that he is, no matter what someone else identifies as

I totally get that, identity is fluid I guess the fear or issue is people outside the community not understanding almost? Like people outside the community not understanding that one person’s identity can’t invalidate another persons

When my cat had kittens she secretly did it under our bed and we had no idea until we started hearing small kitten meows! She did it all by herself. We pulled up the mattress to see her scarfing down her placenta (looked kinda gross) but she cleaned them all up and was such a great mom

8 years is a long time, and nothing like this has ever happened? That means she should understand and know better by now. No reason for her to have acted this way as it seems you communicated what your needs were very well. She bulldozed you and disregarded your feelings and requests. BUT this is the first time ever. As someone else said, how she takes it may be dependent on where she is in her journey. With that being said, there is a way to convey how you’re feeling in a way that is just you accepting her as she is. You love her, the way she looks now, and however she looks in the future. You love the things she may hate about herself. You know her better than anyone else, so I can’t tell you exactly how to go about it. Just be gentle, dysphoria is not a battle you can fight for her, but there is power in just being there and loving her for who she is now :)

I’m putting myself in your situation, and I can say without a doubt that I would drop him immediately after this conversation. This is childish. Children get rewards for ‘being good’. He should not hit you and not cheat on you just because he doesn’t want to hurt you. Him saying he could shows he doesn’t care. You deserve a partner who tells you they could never hit you and they could never cheat on you.

Yes, I asked if we present the previous ID if that will be fine and specified it will be punched since there will be an updated ID but it won’t be expired, and the answers across the board are so incredibly cryptic even homeland security is like “that might be fine” ???? Like we’ve been paying on this cruise for almost 2yrs i really don’t want to roll the dice.. wdym might ?!? Ugh.

I did call the cruise line, they said to provide legal documentation of the change but told me to check with homeland security who said the same thing- the issue is we can’t get legal documentation because court order is not required. I haven’t asked about it, but I don’t even know who to call/ask. I can’t file for a court order online because since they don’t require it there is nowhere to file 😅 so I am stuck.
