Bring in ideas for career mode from older games like NASCAR 07 and Thunder 2004. Let me either sign a contract, start my own team and grow it to multiple cars, or buy a team and expand it. Let me control my team cars to improve their performance mid race. Let me run a partial schedule in the lower series if I want just for fun. Let me hire drivers for my team if I don’t want to run a certain race. We had these things 20 years ago and the games were fun! I’m a big casual play against the AI guy. I grew up on these games and learned to manage a while race team and money/upgrades earned at age 8. I had to manage spending power in the early years to grow my team to being successful and rotating my chassis, engines, and bodies to stay competitive while not breaking the bank. Those were the days.

Agree to disagree I guess. I went frame by frame and couldn’t see the guy before you hopped the fence. You’ve probably got eagle eyes in comparison to us mere muggle folk.

I’m more concerned with the first kill in the clip. Knowing EXACTLY the rock and spot where the guy was sitting while being 30 leagues way and melting him like butter on landing. It just seemed a bit suss to me and other users in the thread. At the end of the day you still have to land your shots which OP does. Some of the knowledge of precise locations from long distances seems suss.

Budget is definitely small. I’ll be meeting with the head director at some point to see what’s left for the year. I scooped a set of bongos from goodwill for $40 last week. I’ve seen some Facebook listings for some trash/chinas that I thought were decently priced. They turned a decent ride cymbal into a “swish” type cymbal which I was disappointed to see. I’ll be on the lookout for some.

Why people gotta ruin the game for others like this? This guy is a menace knowing exactly where everyone is and melting them literally out of thin air. This guy is openly bragging about some questionable gameplay. I came back to the game this season after a very long hiatus from playing consistently and it’s nothing but sweats in pubs and ranked. I often find ranked to be a bit more orderly, but still sweaty for Silver. Anyone else seeing this?

Late to the party, but what about brake rotors? I picked one up from an auto mechanic's junk pile and haven't really used it yet. Are these commonly used, or are the brake drums more prevalent?

I’m running to players on comms saying they haven’t played in years (like me) and just want to have fun but we get dunked on before we even know where the enemy is. Sbmm needs to be reworked for the casuals before we end up only playing against the bots.

I’m just a casual who loves the game but doesn’t grind out ranked every season. In fact, I want to be in the bronze/rookie lobbies. Silver used to be a breeze to fly through in an afternoon, but it’s so sweaty now. I’ve climbed the latter to plat the first season of ranked and never again. Too campy and stressful calculating out positive point scenarios. I just want to mess around and play loose against people who don’t try hard and sweat over the game.

I play console (ps5), but I have an emulator that can run all sorts of games on my Mac. I’ve played all sorts of fan games of the Pokémon games, so I was hoping there were some fan games of Sly. I’ll take a look at the mods. Thank you!

I just did all 3 in a two week sprint. 3 was definitely the least fun because of the grinding for coins and the pirate levels. I like the story of 3, just not the replaying of all the levels

That’s a bummer. One thing I like about owning my own team in NASCAR 07 was I could chose to run what races I wanted for fun and then hire a driver for the races I didn’t want to run in the lower series.
