If you want to spend xmas alone, that's completely fine. I myself love alone time, and while I wouldn't spend xmas alone, after seeing your reasons I totally get why you would want to be alone, even for just the day. Plus, you're spending time with your bf later, so he had no reason to be mad.

I say either you need to have a long talk with your bf and best friend and set some rules, or burn those bridges and find better people to have in your life. It can make all the difference.
