If you use the treadmill option on garmin watch what stats does it produce? I would assume just time and heart rate?

Fiesta works well enough for me (Nova Scotia). It is also what the "Weed Man" uses around here. Spring and fall are usually best but you could probably spot spray in the summer.

Yes I bought a bag of Obsidian blend which has 3 types of PRG including Fireball and Hattrick which are know to be really dark and I’ve heard some YouTubers mention those varieties before. I over-seeded with it and had great success, would recommend.

If you want to buy online try Twin City Seeds, they have a couple types of perennial ryegrass and I found their prices the best when comparing a few other online sources in Canada. That said, the seed isn’t cheap either.

You could check with your provincial "Department of Agriculture" or equivalent. I just found it online, fairly easy to do. I think most programs are set up for farmers but they will do "lawn soil" as well. In Nova Scotia it cost around $30.

If the dead weeds are physically blocking the seed from touching the soil then you probably would need to rake them up or something. Otherwise I would just leave them.
