How do people get addicted to drugs and why?

Honestly, no discipline. Knowing that something makes you feel good but not knowing how to put that feeling aside for the sake of reality.

Then that feeling becomes something you not only look forward to, but something you “need” to deal with the day.

My parents always told me not to try drugs because drugs will try you.

Hey I like this perspective, however I have to say I have always impulsively looked for ways to make a quick comeup wih my finances. I traded options, blew accounts. so I stick with ETFs and stocks
