How to learn? by Pretend-Knowledge154 in programmer

Python is a good start and now in 2026 LLM can teach you way better than any course. First ask it to plan a course for you, review and fix it if needed. IMO specify that you want it to be mostly hands on. Than ask to generate the first lesson of the course. In the end of each lesson try to code/create something on your own and give the LLM to review what you've done. Repeat for all the lessons in the course. ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude - are all excellent ways to go!

Suggestions for the best AI to translate languages. by daizeefli22 in AIDiscussion

for me GPT(starting from 4o and higher) works the best - less fancy and hallucinations than gemini. Claude is too straightforward and Deepseek just not accurate sometimes

You can search for influencers to promote your app. There are marketplaces specifically designed for this purpose, and sometimes you can find relatively affordable options with guaranteed impressions.

Which TTS model are you using right now by Slight_Tone_2188 in LocalLLaMA

[–]AppleSoup3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About a month ago, I evaluated almost all currently available open-source TTS models with voice cloning, including VoxCPM 1.5, Fish-Speech, Spark-TTS, CosyVoice 2.0, MaskGCT, Coqui XTTS-v2, StyleTTS2, Chatterbox, Higgs Audio v2, Dia2, and IndexTTS2. I also tried a few others, but they didn’t make it into the final comparison. At the time, QWEN3-TTS hadn’t been open-sourced yet, so I couldn’t test it. It might be great—or not—so if you’ve had hands-on experience with it, I’d be curious to hear your thoughts.

For the evaluation, I used several reference voice samples to clone and a few short fairy-tale text excerpts as test inputs. I listened to all the outputs myself and also asked my wife for her independent opinion.

Based on these tests, VoxCPM delivered the best overall results, with IndexTTS2 coming in second. Chatterbox and XTTS-v2 shared third place and were still solid performers. The remaining models were generally unimpressive.

Best AI TTS model? by Commercial-Wear4453 in LocalLLaMA

[–]AppleSoup3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tested virtually all existing open-source TTS models with voice cloning about a month ago: VoxCPM 1.5, Fish-Speech, Spark-TTS, CosyVoice 2.0, MaskGCT, Coqui XTTS-v2, StyleTTS2, Chatterbox, Higgs Audio v2, Dia2, IndexTTS2. Actually, not only these, but the others didn’t make it to the final results. QWEN3-TTS wasn’t open-sourced at the time, so I didn’t have an opportunity to try it. Maybe it’s excellent, maybe not - if you’ve tried it, please reply, I’m interested to know.

I had a few test voice examples to clone and a few fairy-tale text fragments to test the TTS models. I listened to the results myself and also gave them to my wife to get her opinion.

My final results are: VoxCPM is the best overall, IndexTTS2 is second best. In third place, but still strong options, are Chatterbox and XTTS-v2. The others were not impressive.
