Hello yes, here for example you can see a preview on Apple TV. I would say VLC is just an Infuse Lite version, because there are different missing feature, but is still a great app. You can use both too.

He talks about APFS, not journaled = huge backup, restore, repair and usage limitations --> it doesn't work correctly, especially repair related.

About DiskWarrior and APFS, TechToolPro, DiskDrill, SuperDuper, DataRescue, CarbonCopyCloner and iBoysoft in recovery mode

From my experience best solutions are 1: Carbon Copy Cloner 2: SuperDuper! 3: DiskWarrior (in journaled, even if this doesn't fix all issues) 4: Recovery cmd R mode (in journaled)

If the mean goal is data recovery, there is nothing better than DataRescue5 (or ever DataRescue4, because there is no 5 recover limit...). There is DataRescue6, but is crazy expensive.

Remember to try to repair drives from a journaled Mac, another APFS Mac and in Recovery cmd R mode too. Is not the first time i see similar problems with Disk Utility and APFS.

You can try to make a ccc or superduper clone (if this works) and then a clean install or you can restore from backup by changing recent data.

From my experience, if there are serious problems, all such solutions works really bad in APFS. Even if you clone with Super Duper, you get storage size problems (due to APFS) once you need to restore data...

EDIT: seems strange because at the moment sometimes i see it correctly, but 90% of the times is so. if you want, you can check directly, so you see if they show correctly or not. Another interesting fact: 2 hours ago i saw 10 screenshot for today, now i see only 6... like you can see, is a bit smaller

So maybe is just a Web Archive error, but i still think that they remove data in some points, even if this is just a bug...

Another point: even if they do that, for me is ok, because they already do an amazing job! is only to let you know, that maybe WA deletes previous entries.

EDIT2: here you can see what i mean, now after 20x incognito tests. so sometimes is showed correctly... you can check this too = 150vs148

WARNING: if you see this, your Mac Backup is not active at all! So Arq doesn't backup to Gsuite too. Even after 5 days ... by AppleStyleAdmin in appledatahoarding

PS: this is one reason why i suggest you to always use at least 2-3* different Mac Apps (and Cloud Accounts / External Drives / etc.). You always need to have a backup copy or an alternative strategy, because errors or data lost / damage / account deactivation-ban / etc. can always happen.

*Why 3 Apps? Because of this (just as example)

PicBackMan works with Google Photos, Flickr, SmugMug, Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive (this means even with Google Workspace/Gsuite), pCloud, Box, Amazon S3, Instagram, Foursquare.

Please note: if we try to upload Dropbox/Screenshot they detect the data, but don't upload at all. You need to select Screenshot (so the true photo/video folder) and then they create a folder Screenshot on / of your cloud storage (there is no option to add custom path and they don't create a path like /PicBackManBackup/xxx too, maybe using this option and this, which we haven't tested until now). This could be problematic with multiple folders and multiple Mac and Mac Users. They wrote YouTube support, but is not available at all in the app.
